Physical exercise is the best way to keep your body and muscles healthy. An ordinary walk in the park for 30 minutes daily can contribute a great deal to your well being. Try changing your physical activities, so you do not get bored with just one thing over and over. Exercise keeps your muscles and organs strong and contributes to your total state of health. It can also aid you to lose some pounds as well. Lowering your body weight to normal levels can reduce your risk of heart disease, cancer and diabetes by up to 50%. Exercise with weights can be a super exercise. Heavy weights are not required. A pair of dumbbells can provide all of the weight that you need. You want to counteract the normal decline of strength as you age. A strong body can do wonders for balance and stability as you grow older. Good balance can prevent many fall injuries.
